BANDUNG, TEROPONGMEDIA.ID — Presiden ke-6 Republik Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), kembali mempersembahkan karya terbarunya berupa lagu bertajuk Save Our World. Lagu ini diperkenalkan dalam acara khusus yang berlangsung di Djakarta Theater pada Selasa (1/7/2025).
SBY menyebut lagu tersebut sebagai bentuk pengingat bagi siapa pun agar lebih mencintai lingkungan, yang merupakan warisan untuk generasi mendatang.
“Bumi adalah satu-satunya rumah kita, dan kita harus bersatu untuk menyelamatkannya,” ujar SBY saat memperdengarkan lagu itu kepada publik.
Lagu Save Our World terasa istimewa karena diciptakan lewat kolaborasi dengan 35 musisi lintas generasi. Di antaranya mendiang Titiek Puspa, Sandhy Sondoro, Chakra Khan, hingga Saykoji. Aransemen musik lagu ini digarap oleh musisi ternama Tohpati.
SBY menyebut kolaborasi ini mencerminkan semangat seniman Indonesia yang peduli terhadap isu perubahan iklim. Ia juga menegaskan bahwa lagu ini merupakan ekspresi hati dan bentuk keprihatinan terhadap ancaman nyata terhadap bumi.
“There is a hope, if there is a will, there is a way. But I do believe there is strong hope. Masih bisa kita selamatkan, kalau kita mau,” tutup SBY.
Lagu Save Our World sendiri pertama kali diciptakan pada 2010, terinspirasi dari pengalaman SBY saat menghadiri Konferensi Internasional tentang Perubahan Iklim di Oslo, Norwegia. Awalnya lagu ini hadir dalam versi Bahasa Indonesia berjudul Untuk Bumi Kita, dibawakan oleh Sandhy Sondoro dengan aransemen Erwin Gutawa.
Kemudian pada 2013, lagu tersebut dirilis dalam versi Bahasa Inggris dengan judul Save Our World, dinyanyikan oleh penyanyi Amerika, Jeffrey Pescetto, dan diaransemen oleh Jeff Lorber.
